WHY I BECAME A THERAPIST
Life can sometimes bring challenging moments, emotional discomfort, struggle and uncertainty. When we are overwhelmed or in the midst of a difficult life transition, it may feel like we will never get through it. Therapy can support you as you process uncomfortable feelings, build coping skills, and discover your strengths to help you through hard times.
I BECAME A THERAPIST TO SUPPORT PEOPLE IN GROWTH, HEALING, AND ACHIEVING THEIR GOALS.
EVERY CLIENT HAS A UNIQUE STORY THAT THEY BRING INTO THERAPY, AND IT IS AN HONOR AS A THERAPIST TO HOLD EACH PERSON’S STORY WHILE WITNESSING THEIR GROWTH AND TRANSFORMATION. THERAPY IS A SAFE SPACE TO HELP YOU HEAL FROM YOUR PAST TRAUMAS, WORK THROUGH LIFE’s CHALLENGES AND FIND THE SUCCESS YOU’VE ALWAYS WANTED.
My priority as a therapist is to help individuals feel truly heard and known. I believe in the power of a collaborative and empowering therapeutic relationship. My approach integrates elements of dialectical behavioral therapy, strengths-based practice, and trauma-informed care. I strive to create a warm and inclusive space where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered to explore and navigate their unique life experiences. Purpose and identity are also very important components of my practice.
When I work with clients, I incorporate THREE THINGS to create positive change:
trust | acceptance | strengths
WHO I WORK WITH
I specialize in working with adults and teens dealing with trauma, addiction, anxiety, and life transitions. I also have experience working with those in the early stages of substance use recovery and addressing issues related to identity, self-acceptance, and relationship dynamics.
My area of expertise is helping individuals heal from past traumas and remove barriers to happiness and fulfillment.
